what do you all think about CNN and other news stations repeditivley talk about how the US is going to go after sadeem? i personally feel its BS because he can watch out news whenever he feels like it and can see what we are saying. and when he sees we are going to come after him, he can jsut very easly prepare with nucs or other such weapons. BAD move on the governments part, but whats new...........

Maybe their just trying to scare him, cause currently the USA does'nt have the resources, nor the support for a full scale war with Iraq (including an invasion), so maybe their just letting him know that as soon as they have the resources and support, their gonna kill him and have done with his bullshit unless he lets the UN see his military arsenal or whatever it is they want.

^^ That could very well be the reason, you're right.

Threatening gives way to peace many times, becuase if you threaten he consequences of something, it leaves time to rectify the problem.  I think the major problem is the inspections and any possible terrorist links, so if Sadaam would just WORK WITH US, instead of being a jerk (I mean, how can anyone not see this guy is evil, he won't do anything as any sort of goodwill gesture).
