oh, and another thing.  Why don't tha "jews for Jesus" just str8 out call them selves "christian"? cause thay can't forget who thay really are.  They Jews.  A race of God's people. They can't "un-jew" them selves.  It's not just a simple riligion that thay can jrop at any time.  Ya know?

Complicated stuff.  God promised Abraham all of God's people in heaven would be from Abraham's descent, as his posterity.  So, when you join the jewish faith (Mormons believe this too, but I don't know about other Christians), you are adopted into Abraham's family.  Our chutch gives out patriarchial blessings that state which Tribe you are of; so as a member, I'm jewish, LOL.  Crazy, right?

But think about that!  It says, right in the old testament, that everybody that enters heaven will be Abraham's descendant.  So, if you're not Abraham's descendant, naturally, our chutch believes you are spiritually 'adopted' into his family, to fulfill that promise to Abraham.  That's what he was promised, for agreeing to sacrifice his son to god.  

So, what i'm sayin is, according to the old testament, I'm jewish, by descent, but not Jewish by religion.

Oh, and btw, if it weren't possible for this to happen, you'd have things like Black people not being able to enter heaven, chinese, hawaiians, basically anybody that wasn't Jew wouldn't be able to be saved, because god promised Abraham everyone in Heaven would be from his lineage? Hardly; that's why there must be a way to be adopted into Abraham's family.  So, if you consider you're going to heaven, you have to think that you are in Abraham's family.  If you're black, there's no way you were NATURALLY in his family, so you must be 'adopted' in.  Like I said, complicated.

The Big Bad Ass:
I'm just sayin that in my 2 sociology classes, and from what I've gathered in my church that there is not a set "race" of jews. Alot of Jewish people have similar features, but it is more of a mediteranean look since that is where the fiath originated. However, as Truama said, if you adopt the jewish faith, then god adopts you as one of Ambrahams family. It isn't a race in a sense of black, white, ect...

I don't know. LOL.  Like you said Complicated stuff. and what you siad about the tribes, I don't know.  I not very sure on what we believe in. LOL.  But why become jewish???  If you not Born jewish, your not jewish.  I'm mexican, I don't go round trying to be black(although many do, LOL)  . Dude yall got me comfused. Damn.  all I know, is that Jesus came as a Jew.  His race was Jewish.  there for Jews are first and for most a RACE of peeps.
