Almost a decade after Illmatic's initial release, Nas is scheduled to drop a platinum edition to commemorate the LP's 10th anniversary.

The set will include remixes of classics like "Halftime," "It Ain't Hard To Tell" and "The World Is Yours" along with two unreleased songs. The first cut, "Chizzled," will be released as a single in late March.

In addition to the anniversary disc, Nas has also been recording his 7th LP which is scheduled to be released later this year. However, before it shelves, the second installment of the forgotten tracks, The Lost Tapes 2 will hit shelves.

Illmatic's 10th anniversary edition hits stores on March 30.
