Yeah but a lot of the stuff in the New Testament is backed up by historical evidence. Jesus lived etc A lot of it is fact, it's the miracles etc that's debatable

Exactly, the Bible is historically correct. To be more precise I'm pretty sure that it is somewhere around 95% to 97% historically accurate.
So either someone was an absolute perfectionist and had the greatest imagination ever to write the whole thing or it is legit.

^^^^^^^^ Dogg, you missed infinite's point. He was saying (I think!) that Christianity is made up.

Many stories use historical facts, for example... the great flood... there was a great flood... its absolutely true, but was there really a boat, with all the animals on it, and noah to care for them all... what about plants? were they considered animals and brought on too.... if so, there were only two plants then, how could that feed the herbivores on the ship, and the carnivores, what did they eat... yes, many animals can go a long time without eating, but many would have died... that whole story to me is fictional... they have no proof of noah...
Read the book "the lion, the with and the wardrobe..." awesome story, about our creation, but you would never guess it on ur first read... totally fictional story... and after reading it, you will wonder..

^^^ See, your making an illogical argument. God is all powerful, all knowing, and created the world. If god, in his infinite glory, wanted all the animals and plants on the world to fit on a boat........... HE'D GET BY.
