What do you think tha chances are religion is made

I'm going to respectfully disagree with you.  Religions with prophets, such as Islam and Sihkism are legit.  Prophets= Legit.  Man made to be Gods or partners with Gods=Idol Worship, e-ligitamate.
Once again, I am respectfully disagreeing with you, I respect your views, your relgion and you as a person, I just have a contrasting view on theology.

1. You say that Jesus was a prophet.  You also say that Islam recognizes him as such.

The question is, would a prophet lie? Because Jesus claimed himself to be the Son of God.  The ONLY begotten son of god.  Add to that the fact that he was born of a friekin' VIRGIN, and to me it's hard to deny him.

I have 2 answers for that.

1.  If it was said in the new testament, then it may have been "tampered" information.

2.  Okay.  In a way, he was the Son of God, because Mary (pbuh) was a virgin.  However, we don't feel comfortable refering to Jesus as the Son of God, because we believe that God has no partners.

Trauma-san:
You really think the 67 times he's referred to as the 'son of god' are tampered with?  That's hard for me to believe.  

Also, he was Resureccted.  No normal man does that.

Also, the lord spoke at his baptism, "Behold, my beloved son, with whom I am well pleased" to the dozens of people there.

Also, when he died, their was an earthquake, thunderstorm, the curtain in the temple ripped, etc.

Also, he 'gave up' his soul on the cross, which is impossible to do as a mortal.  You can't just let yourself die, but he did.  Roman soldiers usually had to break a crucified victims legs, so they couldn't pull themselves up to breath, then they would die.   But when Jesus was stabbed, water, then blood fell out, showing that his heart had already stopped beating, from just standing on the cross.  He also is quoted as saying "It is finished" shortly after receiving vineagar to drink on the cross, and dying.  You can't make yourself die....

There's just a ton of compelling evidence to me,t hat Jesus was the son of god.  I'm not gonna even get into the faith healing, walking on water, coming back from the dead, or any of the other miracles he performed.  Peace~

I seriously think religion is made up... think of it like this... (my facts may be weird) but look at the Bible as a book, cause it is, but dont look at it as THE ALL MIGHTY BIBLE, look at it as a fantasy story that wrote a fictional story about are creation and are ideas.... just a book, a story, written by a whole bunch of men...i feel, it was such a great story, people actually thought "why couldn't this be true" and through its time, they actually passed it to their children as a "way of life" and then the book no longer is just a book, but a way of life....like all the other relgious books out there... people right new books about our way of life, and create new ideas, and then little cults form out of them... to me, its just a story people loved too much...
