Chavez warns U.S. about '100-year war'
Woodrow:
Nah, Venezuela is a real cool place. I know a bunch of people from Venezuela, and they all say that Chavez is a tool and he's running their country into the ground. Also, Venezuela is one of the largest non-middle east Oil producerers... somewhere around 2 to 3 million barrels of oil a day I think. It's the 3rd largest in Opec
Regarding maxi-pad's post, It's clear to anbody with half a brain whats going on...
Trouble with elements in your own government?
Not popular with the merchant class?
Fancy yourself a populist, even if you abuse human rights?
Hate it when your plans to become a despot are under scrutiny?
Just do what Chavez does! Blame the US boogeyman under your bed. Who needs evidence?
Woodrow:
Congratulations
Hugo Chavez
On your successful completion of the
Kim Jong Ill Dipolmacy Correspondence Course!
Trauma-san:
We can't possibly be getting over 80% of our oil from south american countries like Venezuela. Remember, we're invading Iraq for oil or Bush owns the oil company that makes the money off of it or Halliburton needs the contract or something like that. We get all of our oil, or at least 90% of it from Iraq... that's what your average democrat tells me. I read officially that yes, we do get all our oil from South America and only a small percentage from the middle east, but I must be wrong since popular perception thinks otherwise.
King Tech Quadafi:
Chavez is a great man. If you interfere in the affairs of another country, fund the opposition into demanding unconstitutional shit (like steppin down, 2 yrs into his elected mandate), and tryin to overthrow a foreign leader, shouldnt be a surprise when said leader cracks down.
No more aristides.
