Two mixtape SAS trac questions
« on: March 12, 2004, 10:36:33 PM »
1. Where can I order the True Crimes mixtape that features the "G's and Soldiers" trac at?

2. Where is the "Make Y'all Bounce" SAS mix trac featured? I thought it was on LA Ballin' but I just got mines tonight in the mail and it's nowhere to be seen.

Anyways, I got that along with the SAS DVD. I'll peep both out tomorrow afternoon. Steady!

You can buy nearly every SAS mixtape, including ''True Crime'', over at http://www.sandboxautomatic.com. Reasonable prices too.

As for the ''Make Y'all Bounce'' track. I THINK I've heard it on one of my mixtapes before but I could be confusing it with a different song. I'll get back to you on that one, or maybe someone else knows...

''Make Y'all Bounce'' is a track by a rapper named Raptile which features Strong Arm Steady. It probably hasn't appeared on any of their mixtapes but you can find it through file sharing programmes like Kazaa or Limewire. I managed to find it without any hassle.

As for finding the SAS mixtapes on http://www.sandboxautomatic.com, you select ''CD's'' from the menu at the top of the front page, and once the whole catalogue has loaded scroll down to 'S' as its in alphabetical order. I know for sure they have ''True Crime'', ''L.A. Ballin' 2004'' and ''O-Dog Vol.1'' but they also have the ''D-Bo'' series - altough they are listed under 'D' for some reason. All the solo mixtapes, like Krondon's ''Crack Music'' or Phil Da Agony's ''Hulk Steady'' can be found under their artist's title. So if you're searching for a Krondon mixtape you'll find it under 'K', etc.

Same with Sandbox I think...dunno about Krondon's ''The Beginning Of'' but the other ones that you mentioned are definately there.

Don't worry about it dude - none of the DVD's came with the bonus CD because it would apparently have delayed the DVD's release and Fortress wanted to get it out as quickly as possible, so you're not missing anything. It would probably have just been a compilation of tracks off of the mixtapes anyway.
