The Olympics are an event that has been going on for centuries, pitting the world's greatest athletes against each other.
The Greatest athlete of the individual competitions has beaten every other greatest athlete of every country represented in the olympics. Representatives of each country, picked to be the greatest OF that country at that time, gather and battle other countries, with the winner recieving a golden medal symbolizing him as the best of the best, around the world.
Kurt Angle won the gold medal. He's the best of the best around the world. He LITERALLY, is the best wrestler walking the earth today.

but man i think he should retire before his neck gets even more injured , as much as i love Kurt i want him to be able to still be walking by the time he's 40-50 years old
his passion is his passion and his curse , on one hand it keeps him going on the other it makes him push himself at the expense of his own health

After Kurt's last neck surgery he said he had a max of 5 years left as a wrestler.
There are or were only 4 true wrestlers in the WWE, those being Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, & The World's Greatest Tag Team and within a week they're down to only two.

"Kurt Angle got his neck re-examined by two doctors this week after complaining of numbness in his fingers a week or so ago. The WWE and fans all around the world can breath a sigh of relief, because the doctors concluded that the current injury that Angle is suffering from is not career threatening, and additional neck surgery will not be required. Still no word yet on how long Angle will be out of action, as the WWE will most likely give Kurt as much time as he needs to make sure his neck is back up at 100%. Angle should be present at Raw this coming Monday though for the brand lottery."
