Thats your opinion and thats fine, but I think his filmography, the amount of money he probably has in the bank, the life he lives, the millions of people that adore him worldwide, speaks for itself. In your mind all you see is the film as it is on screen so when you watch a film like Top Gun all you see is a cocky flyer in days of thunder you see a cocky driver when really the writers of these films have probably wrote the film for an actor who can deliver it as well as Cruise can on screen.
