As for Reeves, I understand how people can find him a bit boring and average in terms of acting in films but he does play different roles well. You gotta look at Bill & Ted, Dracula, Speed, The Matrix, Devils Advocate. Hes dope and plays different charachters in em all.
Every actor probably has a few files on there filmography that he/she thinks Yuk, but thats all part of acting.

Dosen't take away the point that he is the same character in every movie, only he has different jobs. You can't dispute the fact that he is basically the same in every movie. And I don't know how an actor like that is so popular.
You shouldn't talk shit just because someone tells you the truth about one of your favourite actors.

I've heard tons of people with the same opinion as me and even when I tell this stuff to fans to Tom Cruise they agree that he's pretty much the same cokcy character in all of his movies and you can't dispute that. And if you were once married to Nicole Kdman you'd be famous and have a lot of money to.

Jason Biggs has been in lots of movies and has lots of money and fans but he's not a very good actor
same with arnold schwarzaneggar, vin diesel (even though i like him), etc...

Man, stop saying your speaking for everyone here. You have an opinion, great, but your opinion doesn't mean its actual. I like him as an actor you don't, simple as.
In your mind all you see is the film as it is on screen so when you watch a film like Top Gun all you see is a cocky flyer in days of thunder you see a cocky driver when really the writers of these films have probably wrote the film for an actor who can deliver it as well as Cruise can on screen. To you he plays cocky people because hes a cocky person but to me if I thought he played a cocky person I would realise thats because thats who the charachter is.
Go and watch some more of his films man, especailly films like Vanilla Sky and Magnolia.
LOl at you thinking hes famous because he was once married to Nicole Kidman. You think people that dislike Nicole Kidman's acting say "Oh well she's famous because she was once married to Tom Cruise". Get the fuck outtttter here. He's famous because he makes good movies, plays dope charachters, has a wide array of acting ability and because he still even after all of these years of being in the business appeals to audiences young and old worldwide. And thats also why he has alot of money man.
