lmfao...jome your a fuckin dumbass...nobody in this thread so far that has said timbo was overrated is a "backpack type of foo"...im probably the closest thing and i like timbaland...i just think he's overrated. he hasnt started shit.

Well I said it, you little jackass, and it's the truth.
You're nothing remotely close to a "backpack type of foo", you're a commercial mainstream type of foo who likes "hits".
I was referring to the Waiting for the DJ etc. kinda hiphop fans, I'd be pretty surprised if he liked Timbaland.. of course there's nothing wrong with not liking him, Timbaland might be too commercial for some.

wow you know absolutely nothing about my music taste...im a commercial fan who likes hits?...heres an excerpt from my list of cds jome...

Doesn't mean that he haven't set trends and been a leader within his field.. and that's NOT to compete with DJ Premo btw, gotta laugh at D-Metro for that blunder... ;D

Well, I like all sorts of Hip-Hop, and one of my favortie sub-genre's is what you people call "backpack Hip-Hop"...I also think Timbaland is one of the best, and most influential producers in the game. I believe that everyone respects Timbo, from hardcore Esham fans, to softass Lil Jon fans...PeACe

Premo might make better songs than Timbaland.
Premo only cuts up samples and shit, Timbaland is VERY original.
*waits for the disses and Lil' Jon like "WHAT!!!!" replies* :P

Cutting up samples takes skill. I use a lot of samples in my production and it's pretty hard to flip a sample like primo does.

Yup, it is, but a lot of Timbaland's beats are harder to make.
