Cubs Offers Him 5year/50Mill deal
Dodgers offers him 3Year/39 mill Deal
Braves  offers him 4year/32 mill deal

Man this guy would be a huge improvement over Izturis, plus the health of Izturis is up in the air too, I dont know if he is worth 13 mill a year though...8-10mill for a guy like Furcal is better.

If I was Furcal I would accept the Dodgers deal.  He earns the most per year plus he will be able to the test the FA market again at the age of 31

Im sure a team will offer Furcal a bigger contract than 6.5/per at the age of 31

Why Do Players In The AL or In The NL only go to teams that are in their leagues when they leave their ballclubs????
Like Konerko was only sought after with AL BallClubs, at least that was where most of the hype was at.

Furcal isn't worth anywhere near that money.

By the way, to the guy above, the Clippers are gonna get served by the Cavs tonight for the second time this year. Y'all don't want it with Bron Bron.

No shit.  But Id rather see the team spend money at a problem than waste on it BS players like Encarnaciion, Jacque Jones, or players that are about to break down like Sanders

Since NL & AL teams hardly ever get to play each other, the majority of the pitchers in the other league are relatively new to most hitters, and some of them have a hard time adjusting to hitting against pitchers they've hardly ever seen before.

If we really want to get down with some economic numbers.  Furcal is worth 5.3 Wins.  Each W equals 2 million.  So furcal is worth 10 million.  But thats why you build with underpaid players too. Thats the MLB Market.

Its not like it matters, overpaying in baseball doesn't hurt the team the way it does in other leagues like the NBA or NFL.
