I know he copied the drum beat from Curtis Mayfirld's "Pusher Man" for the song "I'm Shady"

He even borrowed some of his lines for that same song.

Due to the heavy Curtis Mayfield sampling on Doggystyle i bet it was dre's idea to sample him on that..i know dre didn't produce the track but still that's not a far-fetched assumption,just sayin',peace-Tanjint
