check out air america radio:
http://airamericaradio.com/
these cats are spitting viewpoints and critiquing the news and political issues in a manner that simply can't be found in typical u.s. media outlets.
they stream it online via real audio:
http://play.rbn.com/?url=airam/airam/live/live.rm&proto=rtsp
randi rhodes show from 3-7pm est is probably the best show on the station. al franken, jeanane garafolo, the morning show with chuck d and lizz winnsteadt...all of it is way cool.
definitely check out randi rhodes show, she spits information that will completely debunk the lies that you'll hear on o'reilly, fox news in general, cnn to a slightly lesser extent, and the lies some of the cats in this forum spread in general.

The US media as a whole has a liberal bias that is no different than anything that these guys will say. The reason that they started this liberal radio channel is that talk radio is the one place in the US media where conservatives actually have a voice.

Much props and respects... I'm listening to it now. Talk radio needs more truth and sensibility.

LOL are you fucking kidding me? LOL
Cnbs
Nbs
Abs
MSNBS
The New York Times
The Saddam (L.A.) Times
Etc. Etc. Etc. have an strong liberal bias, that will be no different than Franken and Co.'s worst. It's good they have a talk network, though, now maybe they'll stop bitching about Rush and others; and when Rush, Hannity, etc. continuously whip their ass, it'll be interesting to see what the excuses are.

CWalker187:

no. that's actually a misconception. most u.s. media outlets are too scared to go after larger corporations because they are in the pocket of these very corporations and depend on them for advertising revenue's...etc. they don't go after the bush regime because they know if they do their access to he higher ranking officials within the regime will be severely limited. you'll only hear the opinions expressed on this radio network in small snippets in the major media because most of the liberal pundits and analysts are simply too scared to really take off the kid gloves.
The reason that they started this liberal radio channel is that talk radio is the one place in the US media where conservatives actually have a voice.
if you listen to randi rhodes or al franken or jeanane garafalo's show you'll see that they go after the so called "liberal media" all the time. abc, cnn, msnbc...etc. these networks have been torched.
if you listen to the network you will see that the reality of the message they are putting out completely contradicts your claims. i actually expected then to be inline with a cnn or a nbc and was very pleasantly surprised.

I'd never listen to it, because I simply don't like Al Franken or Jeanine. I've seen them on t.v. in interviews, and they're not my kind of people.. Jeanine seems like a bitch who thinks she's better than everyone else, and Al seems like a fuckin' loser with a low I.Q. that thinks he knows something. When it comes right down to it; they're entertainers who think their opinion on politics is somehow more important or interesting than anyone elses. They'll never overcome that they were first entertainers, and now political conversationalists. At the end of the day, people don't really CARE what Al has to say about politics, they still think of him as Stuart Smalley.

blah, blah, blah.
you could make the same arguments about fucking bill o'reilly or rush linbaugh. they're nobody's with a voice.
the governor of fucking california is a fucking actor with a movie still playing in some theatres across the country (at the time of his election).
the ex governor of minnesota was a fucking pro-wrestler.
fucking ronald reagan was also an actor.
anybody without a felony conviction can hold a political office. anybody, including convicted felons, can get a radio show and spew their ramblings on political issues of the day. the criteria is simply:
a) do you look good on camera?
b) can you entertain an audience?
and there are no cameras in radio.
everything you just said against jeanane and al is bullshit. you're whole argument is basically "i don't like them"; and while you're completely entitled to your own opinions...that argument doesn't mean much at all.
the reason people love al is basically because he takes the words of o'reilly or bush, or sean hannity, or ann coultre...et al. and throws it back in their faces. exposes how they contradict themselves. jeanane garafolo is very entertaining and engaging. regardless, the best show by far is randi rhodes, randi spits nothing but knowledge.
They'll never overcome that they were first entertainers, and now political conversationalists.
that's silly and uninformed. people love celebrities. celebrities regularly obtain political offices. in addition to the cats mentioned above (reagan, ventura, arnold...) there have been dozens of ex sports stars, war heroe's and tv stars that have both entered politics, held offices and held roles on political analysis shows...etc. wwe's bradshaw from the acolytes (apa) is now doing financial market analysis on one of those fox show. pat sajak has a late show on fox. geraldo is now a "star" correspondent on fox. lauren green (news woman on fox) was a former miss minnesota.
your statements are completely empty. there is no factual basis for your statements.
At the end of the day, people don't really CARE what Al has to say
speak for yourself. let's wait until june or so when the ratings are released. it's clear why you don't like al, because you love to rehash the distortions and lies that perpetuate themselves within the conservative media.
