I don't think you can really compare Kubrick to Tarantino...Kubrick dropped a movie about every other year, until "The Shining"...That's when he became rich, old, and started slacking off...But he didn't start out lazy, like Tarantino...Kubrick, in my eyes, is probably one of the greatest directors ever...A true genius...Here's proof:

Kubrick Films-
Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
Full Metal Jacket (1987)
The Shining (1980)
Barry Lyndon (1975)
Clockwork Orange (1971)
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
Dr. Strangelove (1964)
Lolita (1962)
Spartacus (1960)
Paths of Glory (1957)
The Killing (1956)
Killer's Kiss (1955)
The Seafarers (1953)
Fear and Desire (1953)
Flying Padre (1951)
Day of the Fight (1951)

Tarantino Films-
Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004)
Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003)
Jackie Brown (1997)
Pulp Fiction (1994)
Reservoir Dogs (1992)
My Best Friend's Birthday (1987)

I can't believe you have the guts to even compare Kubrick to Tarantino :-X

P.S., Tarantino is working on a new movie called "Inglorious Bastards"...I'd like to see that happen, though I'd be surprised if it came out in the next 3 years...PeACe

Bramsterdam (see ya):
I agree fully with NIK here, Tarantino is a great director, but he is nothing compared to Kubrick, Kubrick just like nik said is one of the greatest directors ever.

Javier:
what Quentin comes short in visuals compared to Kubrick...he more than makes it up in his writing skills.

Stanley Kubrick- Visual Genius
Quentin Tarantino- Writing Genius

With only four movies, hes already A "god" among directors.

hector:
that would be dope if he made part 3.  and he said in an interview that what he had been doin before making this movie was smoking bud and watching movies, to get his ideas.

CRAFTY:
I can't wait to see Part 2, damn! 8)
