If the Iraqi's could profit off their oil and sell their own oil freely to the whole world without UN and United States sanctions and embargo's or without the United States proping up one government (Hussien), using him to destabalize Iran, and then overthrowing him; If America would leave them alone they could experience peace and prosperity.
Before the 20th Century, the colonization period of Britian and the neo-colonialism of America, Islamic nations experienced hundreds of years of peace and prosperity. When Muslims controlled Spain in the middle ages it was the hieght of civilization in Europe, the most prosperous country in the West. Under the Muslims, minority groups like the Jews were able to experience their golden age in art and literature.
As far as today's current hangups, it is like the Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him has said, "The Kings and Rulers have been given the life of this world and we have been left the paradise of the hereafter, so fear not."

Do some reading with an open mind and you can see that dhimmitude is HORRIBLE to live under. You can tell me how great it is, but I've got 1,000 years of history to back me up.

Religion allways becomes more popular when times get tough. It's not 'when the going gets tough,the tough get going' but rather, 'when the going gets tough..the tough get to church' and when people allready are christian (as is the case with most citizens of the US,for some reason the US are the exception to the rule 'the more developed a country,the less religious it is.') and are still unhappy they might want to find their hope in another religion,wich would in most cases be Islam.
I won't go into saying one religion is better then the other because it's not about the religion itself but the way it is practised. Besides,I'm sure there are very open-minded muslims just as there are highly fundamentalist christians. And I think any religion is a potentially bad thing.

i was about to post this, but yeah overseer is right...scientology and that form of judism that uses the kabalah are the top 2 fastest growing religions
and if you wanna brag infinite, christianity is still the biggest religion...
