1. Prelude…Starts off as an intro with Above the Law and Kokane, and then 2 hot verses from Ren.  Good way to start album off.  5/5
2. Real niggaz don’t die…A+ quality production.  Top notch lyrics from Dre, Ren, and Eazy.  5/5
3. Niggaz 4 life…Up-beat production with a 70’s feel to it.  Tight lyrics from all members.  5/5
4. Protest…interlude
5. Appetite for destruction…Up-tempo beat with a hard hitting bassline.  All three put down hella tight verses.  5/5
6. Don’t drink that wine…interlude
7. Alwayz into somethin’…Smooth laidback production.  Features just Ren and Dre who get the job done just fine.  5/5
8. Message to B.A….interlude
9. Real niggaz…Fast-paced beat, therefore faster flowing.  Dope lyrics.  4.5/5
10.   To kill a hooker…interlude
11.   One less bitch…Smooth beat with a high pitched whining and piano in the background.  Tight production and great stories.  Eazy’s convo at the end wraps up the song well.  4.5/5
12.   Findum, fuckum, and flee…Hard beat matched with 3 verses of fuckin’ bitches.  4.5/5
13.   Automobile…Features Eazy-E singing to a piano loop.  Hilarious song about hoes.  5/5
14.   She swallowed it…All three verses are done by Ren.  Hard hitting bassline on production.  Top notch lyrics.  Dope hook.  5/5
15.   I’d rather fuck you…An amazing remake of ‘I’d rather get with you’ by Bootsy Collins.  Eazy almost sounds drunk as he wails his verses.  5/5
16.   Approach to danger…Dark, evil production.  Decent lyrics, but the beat drowns out everybody’s voices.  3.5/5
17.   1-900-2-COMPTON…interlude
18.   The dayz of wayback…Amazing top-quality production.  Song doesn’t feature Eazy, but Ren and Dre lay down perfect verses.  5/5

OVERALL…10/10

An amazing overall album.  Top notch production on every song, top notch lyrics on every verse.  And this is all without Ice Cube.  One could imagine what this album would have sounded like with him.  Dre’s production combined with Ren’s lyric writing ability and Eazy’s unique voice is the formula for a perfect album.  Untouchable.

i wouldnt give it a 10/10,  i dont even think this is a classic,  near classic but that content of this whole album is horrid.  Every song is fuck a bitch an shit.  Id give it a 8.3/10.  Great production though an tight lyrically from ren but tha content hurt it

C-L-A-S-S-I-C! I really like the production of this project - it creates a strange but very cool feeling. My favorite tracks are "I'd Rather Fuck You" and the amazing "Alwayz Into Somethin'".

Lord Funk:
This album is definitely important in the history of west coast hip hop - in tracks like Alwayz Into Something you can hear Dre's signiture sound over the next few years taking shape. But I agree with Tom187um - the subject matter throughout is just so fucking weak. It isn't even shocking, it's just boring. I seem to remember Ren rapping about getting his dick sucked by a 14 year old (R Kelly anyone?) - what the fuck do I possibly want to hear shit like that for?! Nah - this wasn't even close to classic, and could never leave the mark that Straight Outta Compton did. Sorry guys, but that's the way I feel...

Smooth:
i wouldn't quite call it classic... id give it an 8.5... "Real niggaz don’t die" is my favourite track fo sure...
