Mentally handicapped people should be sterilised

Z the laidback Virus:
I know this sounds hard but I'm convinced mentally handicapped people should in fact be sterilised. I'll tell you why.

Think of the impact on other people.Just imagine yourself as having a father or mother (or both) with Down syndrome.You'll probably be ashamed of them, you'll get bullied for it and will experience all kinds of problems. There is a big chance you'll start to hate your parents or grow into a very troubled adult. No child should be put through that if it can be avoided.

Furthermore,these people can't properly care for a child themselves because they are kids themselves. What then happens is that other people can look after these children because the mentally handicapped parents can't.This puts extra stress on the people close to them. Just imagine a nursery home full off kids that also need to be cared for by the personel. That should be avoided as well. It isn't just like those kids would have to be cared for a certain time,but for their entire childhood.

Don't think I'm just talking and don't know what I'm talking about;I got a cousin like that myself and can only say I don't want her to get children because she really couldn't properly care for them.

its disgusting. you dont have the right to choose.

theres enough of an issue at the moment as to whether people carrying down's children are allowed to abort when they find out...

I don't think people that can't care for their own kids should be allowed to have children because they burden the community with the care for these kids.
It's hard to say,but some people should not be permitted to spread their genes,such as:
-sadists
-necrophiles
-incredibly stupid people
-people without any lack of responsibility
-pedos
-etc.
This is not because of these people themselves but because of the way their children would (and do) suffer from their parents inabilities or disorders.

Trauma-san:
That's a basic freedom granted you by God.  You can't take that away from people, it's not your right or the government's right.  The most powerful thing God is capable of is creation, and he's gifted us with the same power.  

Rain:
we cant make the decision to sterlize other people - its too inhumane - its not like they are pet or something - they have the same basic human rights as everyone else.

also  u say these people shouldnt be allowed to be permitted to spread their genes but there is absolutely no way u can govern it. especially incredibly stupid people or people without any lack of responsibilty mainly because thats opinion. for example im sure u find urself to be very intelligent, i on the other hand find u to be incredibly stupid for suggesting mentally handicapped should be sterilised.
