Here's what it means:

With "listen to Big L" it was meant that listen to him if you want to hear sick, dope, kick-ass lines.

With the quote "that talk about guns, ice, women..." it was meant that Big L wouldn't do it for you, since Big L is beyond petty shit like guns, ice & women.

And since I had to explain it to ya, maybe it's best if you don't try to get into Big L.
