.....you should really read that history book. The federal government, under the constitution, isnt supposed to give money to public schools. Thats the states problem.

i didnt feel like reading that whole thing, but i read the yellow words.  i knew about the laser thing. i mean we can see people with satellites why not shoot them from satellites.

Federal government gives money to both state and local government.

yea i know it does. what i was saying is.....he said the federal gov. should spend its money on schools instead of military.

i was just stating that the federal gov. really doesnt have to give any money at all to the schools. its the states problem, but it does.

Well the federal government can increase the amount of monies they give to states and local governments for schools, road etc....and decrease the defense budget  :D ;)

they could, but its unconstitutional to give any money. but they shouldnt have to its the states fault.

anyway. Shooting a laser from a satellite would be awesome. instead of using aritillery or air support for ground troops. they could immediatly laser that target. pretty useful

JTSimon:
They don't tell the states what to do with the money.

Federal governement also hands out grants.

unconstitutional? what are you talking about? if the federal government would stop spending money on weapons we dont need and divide that money up amongs the 50 states...we could have a brand new school, brand new text books & equipment, and very well paid teachers in every school district in the US.
