i expect this. La will win the next game (hopefully). Detroit will win their next game at home. then it will be 2-3. then la will win the next two at home.
i highly doubt detroit will win next two at home. but anything can happen.

in the NBA Finals, and only in the NBA Finals, it goes like this with the homecourt advantage:

Lakers
Lakers
Detroit
Detroit
Detroit
Lakers
Lakers

4 games in LA, 3 in Detroit. --> Homecourt advantage Lakers.

It's the sandwich system :D.

So, next two games are in Detroit. And if they win those 2, which could really be, they "are up" 4-1. Ugh.

pistons are just a better team...their deffense is sick...this one doesnt go back to la...lakers are over matched....oh and kobe 1 point in the first half...i never wanna hear a jordan comparison again

Pistons are a better team? LMAOOOO...Let me give you some advice, never be an NBA analyst...And because Kobe had ONE bad game, that means he can't be compared to Jordan anymore? You think Jordan never had off games? And it's not just that, because everyone on the Lakers were playing bad. It's not like Kobe was the only one who blew it...Also, Shaq scored 2 points in the second half, does that mean he's not the greatest/one of the greatest centers of all time anymore? Come on man, get out of here with that shit...Ask Isaiah Thomas if you ain't knowing.

i think i'm the only one who said Detroit in 6

Detroit has that killer instinct & they just want it more. The Lakers do not play hard and do not deserve to be in the Finals, they should have been out in the second round

i disagree i think the lakers did awesome against the wolves and spurs.

but i guess there just too confident, and think that they have all the time in the world to finish off the pistons. There not playing to their ability, because if they were....pistons would be swept.

So I guess you don't have to play hard to beat the Spurs 4 games in a row...Great team you have there, eh?

Lakers were  the better team than the spurs, simply because of the reason that they could make open jump-shots. The lakers are a pathetic sorry-ass team and have shown nothing this series so far, you could tell just by looking at the benches the entire series. Look at Detroit's bench-- you see every one of their players standing up and cheering after every aggressive play, i have yet to see either shaq, kobe, malone, payton encourage their team. if the lakers win this series it will be a mockery to the NBA, and a damn shame.

--This was on a sign during Game 3--
L.A. has got celebrities & tans but Detroit has real fans

^^Why are you so close-minded? Do you know what momentum is? Yes, Detroit seems to have a lot of that right now...When the momentum shifts to the Lakers side, Detroits bench wont be cheering, and the Lakers bench will...Shit, you have a lot to learn about this game.

I think it's pathetic Laker-Fans still look for excuses like momentum stuff and whatever.

Why cant you just accept that the Detroit Pistons actually are a great team. Not in an obvious fantastic way, since they arent wizards with the ball or great scorers and all that stuff... but they are a great, GREAT defensive team. Which makes em a great team. Face it and move on.

P.S.:

Mavs --> best offense --> out in round one, clearly

Pistons --> best defense --> currently in the NBA Finals, owning the Lakers since the start of Game 1
