As its that sunny time of year, I just thought I would share this gem with my fellow Funk Lovers. Its a - rare - track from Emmetts Demo in the early 90's. He's a Guitarist and Vocalist thats been around since the 70's, and worked with the likes of Barry White, Bobby Womack.

Val Young is of course the singer formerly signed to, and released the classic "Seduction" LP on MOTOWN and from Tupacs "2 Live & Die In LA", Warren Gs "G Spot", Daz Dillinger - "In California" and "Only For You", Snoop Doggs "Purple" to name just a few. Also anyone in England, UK can catch up with Val later this year when shes over here promoting her upcoming album release, doing shows with some big named Westcoast Hip Hop support acts, if anyone in the UK wants to hook up, let me know. One of her latest projects is vocals on Yo Yo's return album, and possibly a track with Swedish artist Lucky.

Val Young "The Voice Beyond" is due soon, the albums ready and will feature a special guest. . . everyones favorite, the king of Westcoast Hip Hop, its not hard to work out .
