no I dont think it's the best way...
usually, if I have to register on a forum without being able to read first... I dont bother registering. most forums suck, and if you cant read and find out how great this place is, you maybe wont register since you can consider it a waste of time as you dont know where ya at.

shit I started reading this board from like the first month or two when it opened up, and I read it for at least an entire year before I even signed up.  I hate having to register to read forums, that shit is gay.
