NOTTZ LANDING

After recently working with Ghostface Killah, G-Unit, Lloyd Banks and executive producing the new Krumb Snatcha LP, Let The Truth Be Told (August), Nottz is currently in the studio working on Busta Rhymes' AfterMath debut, as well as working on tracks with Canibus for his next solo-LP. Yet, the project that has us geeked is the Nottz and Royce Da 5'9 still untitled collaborative effort, which Nottz describes as "a real emcee over real beats." Nottz also added that "everyone's amped about the project, Royce is on fire and a time bomb waiting to blow up and that the LP is going to wake allot of A&R's up." Look for Royce and Nottz's project to drop in the first quarter of 2005.... - Matt Conaway

I've been a fan of Royce for a while so anything new from him is cool, and I will surely check it out. Unfortunately, Nottz to me is a hit-and-miss producer from what I've heard of his beats. For example, I like the cut he did on Lyricist Lounge Vol. 2 with Kool G Rap & M.O.P but the production he did for the ''Doggy Style All Stars'' compilation (the track with Snoop, Prodigy and Special Ed - I forget the name) was god awful. That said, I haven't heard lots of his instrumentals so I guess I'll have to wait and see how this turns out...
