i have the same view as you about some films being more amusing than scary, like Phantasm, Critters etc etc...

yeah, did you see the extra's on that Phantasm DVD....they were interviewing that tall ugly foreign dude and he thought he was the shit....he went on and on about his acting like he was playing the lead role in othello or something...the shit was pure comedy
