I rented this, played it for about 20 mins and then turned my ps2 off. Its a pretty big imitation of gta, and not half as good, the gameplay is ok, controls i dont like, you die easily, as well as your car, and once the cops are on you, its like you can't get rid of them....  I give this shit 1.5/5, a super shitty game imo. Nothing can really touch Rockstar, it makes the best games and owns the market as jome posted the top games.. GTA 3 is dope, Red Dead Revolver is dope, vice city is dope, and sa seems to be the most anticipated game ever. . .

This game failed to live up to the hype. I was pretty disappointed, but as I continue to play the missions, I have slowly warmed to the game. The cut scenes are amazing, it's a pity the grx in the game are the total opposite.

I give the game 3/5......it's not a bad game considering all the faults.

yea dude this game is pure shit. its just not fun.

Everyone is trying to immatate GTA, and fail everytime. These companies should try and be unique not a copy. And now San andreas is going to raise the bar even more which is gonna bring another batch of shiity san andreas copies.

gta 1 was out before the PS1 was out i think. it was 2d and you could see only from above, just like gta2 but crappier, still pretty dope tho

Rented this yesterday. It's not quite as bad as some people are making out, but it's a poor clone of GTA. I hate the way that in these games you can pick up the controller and start playing straight away - even the control set-up is bitten from GTA... Roll on SA...
