I think most people made up their mind before it dropped, the G-Unit CD showed what a Banks CD was gonna be like. You know Banks isn't talking about the sun, moon and stars, or politics and black liberation. It's all about the ghetto of Jamaica; Queens, guns and murders, cars, weed and bitches.. and of course witty punchlines & metaphors.I think some people actually expected Kweli stories or Dead Prez politics.. LOL The only track I don't feel at all, is "Karma"."Die One Day" and "Playboy" is average, but not really bad.Tracks like "Playboy", "On fire", and "I'm so fly" is really just bragging and comes down to BS.. would like some more substance. On the other side, I think he showed what he can do on "Till the end" and "Southside Story", which is great storytelling.
actually that "fact" of him selling 400,000+K in first week wuz ridiculous...cuz he sold 169,000 first week.
