The Manchurian Candidate


IN THEATRES: JULY 30, 2004

This political thriller directed by Jonathan Demme and based on the book by Richard Condon stars Denzel Washington as a paranoid veteran who believes he was brainwashed when he was in service. A mother-son team consisting of a senator (Meryl Streep) and a sergeant (Liev Schreiber) struggle to keep the whole thing secret. Condon's book was previously adapted by John Frankenheimer for the 1962 film of the same title.

Looks like its gonna be a really good movie.  What u guys think?
The Village comes out the same day :o.  And I think another big name movie too.

They shouldn't have done this movie.

The OG was one of the best movies ever. I have my doubts that this is gonna live up to it.
