Who Would Jesus Torture? The Religion of George W. Bush

Yeah, I Christian, and I guess I'm at a point where it's becoming more clear what it means to be a Christian. I am reading the Bible more, and the more I read, the more I realize how much the president abuses the religion to get his way. I truly am getting sick of people thinking that because George Bush says it, it's right in Christian faith. I have not see anything he does that is justified in Christianity.

everytime he does stuff "mostly stuff nobody approves of" he says god told him to do it.  He tells the country that he talks to God, and God is telling him what to do.

That bothers me.

Makes you wonder whether it really is God or if he's just using that as an excuse.

I cant believe he does that. That's exactly the same level the muslim extremists fights are based on. Pretty sick.

I believe in God leading people to conclusions, but only if they coincide with the Bible.

So in Bush's case, I'm being cynical. You would be more than surprised by the amount of people that actually fall for his excuse though. My brother goes to a private Christian school and when the teacher asked him who he would vote for, and he said "Kerry", his peers mocked him and told him that God chose Bush as president. Sure, they're just kids, but the kids are only reflecting their parents feelings.
