I'm only 14 you know so take it lightly, i haven't even finshed high school, do you expect me to know all this shit. For someone my age, people consider me knowledgeable about foreign affairs and politics.
Saddam got into power because President al-Bakr gradually withdrew from politics during the 1970s and formally retired in 1979. Hussein( who was vice-chairman) became chairman of the Revolutionary Command Council and president of the country.

LOLLLL.... So you admit that you don't know shit, and then you come back with another statement trying to argue. So you don't believe CIA officials when they say that they helped Saddam because the U.S. was trying to prevent Communist influence in Iraq? In case you didn't know, the same thing happened in Afghanistan... we supported the country against the Russians, it's a known fact. Why do you try to argue against facts?

LMFAO. I never said they helped him become EVIL. They brought him to power. He started killing people. The U.S. didn't care because he was helping us meet other goals. When he nationalized the Iraqi oil fields, then the U.S. cared and labeled him an evil dictator even though he was evil before the nationalization of the oil fields. The rest is history... (Iran/Iraq war, Gulf War, the present...)
