I don't know what version I have, but I can tell you the one I got is not sampling Sting's voice. It's not even the same lyrics as The Police's song. I don't think I've ever heard John Legend, so I don't know if it's him on the song, but I can tell you this chorus is annoying as fuck.

John Legend is the guy, who sang on many Kanye West songs, and on Dilated Peoples' "This Way" for example...
