Hittman is not a real person. He was a computer program generated by Dr. Dre and Mel Man back in the mid 90's. When Dre started treating Mel-Man like shit, Mel infiltrated the computer and put a virus in the hittman program

suge is not allowed to release unreleased dr. dre tracks. on the original version of chronic 2000 (the one with the white cover) re like 4 old dre tracks. dre sued suge and won. so suge pulled that tracks off that compilation, later he chnaged the whole tracklist.

naw, suge is allowed to release them.  only in original form though.  thats why the songs were pulled from the chronic 2000, because suge made changes to them.

The catch-22 is that the unreleased songs HAVE no original form: They're unreleased.  So they can't be released in their original form, because their original form is unreleased... make sense? That's why you never see Dre tracks.  Pretty smart of Dre, if you ask me.

By the way, when Dre sued over the Chronic 2000, that wasn't when that decision was made.  He sued because Suge was in violation of the agreement they signed up when Dre left the row.  Part of Dre's deal was he'd give up his half of Deathrow (the money part) if Suge would agree not to release anything except in it's original form (keeping Dre's artistic 'vision' or whatever intact).  So, Dre walked away with just a fraction of what the Row was worth, but fucked Suge out of being able to release any of Dre's unreleased shit.

Oh, and another thing people don't realize is that Snoop had to pay Suge for all those No Limit records, but Suge still had to pay Snoop @ the same time his royalties for all the deathrow shit he released.  That's why most of the animosity was between Snoop @ Suge, becuase they still had 'business' relationships in one fucked up way or another.  That's also why Snoop was releasing shit on his website that was available on "Dead Man Walking" and shit like that, because they both had the rights to the songs.

damn ya'll got this way twisted.

Dre never sued over the tracks on Chronic 2000.

He sued over the name 'Chronic'

The stuff about the tracks being released in their original forum was a seperate case where the row had hooked up with that online cd place where you could build your own custom cd's.
