The ending was pretty weak. The whole tie in from the first conversation with Cruise and Foxx didn't really work either.

If It was me, I would have made the end like this.  They're crawling around in the dark room, Max comes up, says "Leave her alone", Vincent turns around, puts two in Max's chest, one in his head, then does the same to the girl, the music ends with a symphonic string Crescendo into some upbeat musical composition, and Vincent almost immedately walks off screen with everything going black.  Roll Credits. 

You should of been a consultant to Michael Mann lol. That's a perfect ending. It reminds me alot of the ending to Scarface.
