yeah that really does suck. With CL popping up on Soul Assassins II a few times, i started to get my hopes up for a Mecca and the Soul Brother II.  But it sure as hell doesn't seem like it's gonna happen.  I will say this, i think pete can move on without CL, but i'm not sure if CL can do much without Pete.  Yes I love CL, but it is less interesting if pete isn't doing his beats.

Hopefully they will squash this and continue to do music.  But I do have the suspicion that pete may have some issues.  Nas had a problem with him for the longest time. (even though he's rumored to produce on Street's Disciple).
