Computer help!!!

a few days a go my sound decided it stopped working. after lookin for a while i've found the problem; its the microsoft kernel wave audio-mixer. does some one know how i can fix this?

I found out it was a driver. lol. i've download the new driver, but how do i install it?

right click my computer, then select properties. from that choose the hardware tab and then device manager. if any of the sound devices have an exclamation mark next to them, right click them and choose update driver...that might work... 8)
