DUBCC - Tha Connection > Outbound Connection

Who do you think is the best producer

<< < (5/8) > >>

Leggy Hendrix:
DJ Premier...

closely followed by Dre, RZA and Pete Rock...

Throwback:
my top 3:

.:Hercy Buggz:.:
Dj Jazzy Jeff
Pete Rock
Jay Dee

mauzip:
it's easy to say dr. dre, but what abuot mannie fresh? when has he disappointed? what about jazze pha? when has he disappointed?

i don't have one favorite producer, i have a couple of favorite producers :)

mannie fresh, dr. dre, jazze pha, damizza, dj quik, r. kelly...

Kill:
West: Dre way back, Quik, Brotha Lynch Hung

East: RZA, Pete Rock, Havoc

South: definitely the Organized Noize team and Outkast...goddamn, listen to "ATLiens" or "Soul Food"

Primo is great but he's used the same formula since "No More Mr. Nice Guy", little variety there, even though it's mostly great material

9th Wonder & Kanye West could be up there in a few years

there's loads of honorable mentions: Warren G, Large Pro, DJ Shadow, The Alchemist, DJ Paul, Juju, Q-Tip etc.
