I remember wanting to see this movie, but, never did....is it any good?

it's about the same lines as the patriot or braveheart but with no factual basis plus it came out around the same time as these two

if you've seen patriot or braveheart...you've pretty much seen postman and you've sen the better versions  :P

Isn't The Postman set in like a post-apocolyptic setting?  I don't know, i've heard very mixed things about this movie, but I get the drift that its wierd.  It might be worth seeing just to see what its all about.

it does take place in the "future" but humanity is set back to just about the patriot's days...horses and shit...and kevin costner is trying to get the united states started again....
