Couldn't agree more.

That Raphael is nice front to back, the R Kelly hasn't left my CD player since it dropeed, and I'm really getting into that John Legend.

Prince Musicology.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Of the ones I've bought so far:

Jill Scott
Raphael Saadiq
Amp Fiddler

Will be buying:
John Legend
Akon

And I really need to check out that Lyfe album, I've heard a couple of his tracks and they've been amazing.
