However Rockstar said the release of the game would go ahead as planned, with San Andreas hitting the shops in the US on 26 October and three days later in Europe.

Strange shit... perhpas they did put it out early cause of the leak?

It's being released later today (29th) down here in NZ, not sure about Austrailia. Ordered it lass week, supposed to be receiving the uncut UK version, which had me worried @ first, but the fella@ the game store assured me this doesn't mean the kiwi version will be edited. It has a r18 rating down here too.

From what I've been reading here and @ game sites, the game sounds orsm. I can't wait, can't sleep.

looks like I'll be picking up a ps2 next thursday with GTA SA

. Under 300 for it all so I'll still be able to buy a 1/2 O.....Anyone gonna be interested in a cheap ps2 after I finish it? I'll sell real real chep to someone on here in CA or US.....probably cheap enough to make a profit yourself....unless I find I friend here to sell it to.
