(1/3) > >>

davida.b.:
I've been thinking this to myself, mainly because I realize that some people think that "Rappers Delight" was the first rap song ever. Only rapper I know of that was around before Rappers Delight was that Prince Whipper Whip dude who appeared on the Beatnuts album. Who were some other rappers that were around pre-Rappers Delight?

Lincoln:
Funk band Fatback recorded the first Hip-Hop song ever, King Tim III.

Suga Foot:
people were 'rapping' in songs as far back as the 60's in blues music.

mrtonguetwista:
Fred and Barney used to get down at the Moose's Lodge :D

*Jamal*:
I heard that one of Bob Dylan's songs could actually be considered the 1st rap song...
