playstation online help....won't let me connect

(1/1)

Don Jacob:
aright guys i just got one of those new playstation 2's where you don't have to buy the adapter to get online. you just plug it into a phone jack and then into your playstation and go ....or it's suppose to anyway. but when i put the start up disc in and then enter in all the info to get started , it dials up like any other regular internet connection then says "connection failed" athentication error.

what the hell is up with this ? why can't i get online
