"Would Pac have dissed this rapper, I will have to find out before I can say that I like this track".. "Pac called <insert rapper> fat, so I guess his career is over".. "This one is from the East, so Pac would have dissed him, putting him on a track is blasphemy!"It's good entertainment though.

Quote from: Baby G on November 21, 2004, 02:18:44 PMEasy for you to say, you love hearing anything Shady/Aftermath affiliatedNaw, there's a lot of Shady/Aftermath stuff I don't like, and most of this album sounds like too much of the same stuff, it's still far from the worst Pac album.I bet you'd love it if they gave Ja Rule, Irv Gotti, Ashanti & Dipset the task to remix a new Pac album though.

LMAO.People are bitching about Eminem, Dido & G-Unit on a Pac album..Did you sleep when they put Jazze Pha, Trick Daddy, Nas, Mya, etc. on a 2Pac album.. ?? Hilarious.
What this all comes down to is, this isn't a Tupac album. This is just a basterdized blender of Tupac's voice he happened to lay down on a tape years ago. There's nothing Tupac about this. This is the equivalent of them hiding a tape recorder in his house, and recording him talking, and then making it into songs after he died. All of this shit is bottom of the barrel shit, and people say that since Pac was so prolific at writing, you know, he had all this stuff in the vaults waiting to come out... no he didn't. He would have continued being prolific, the shit you're hearing now is the absolute DREDGES of his catalog, he NEVER would have released any of this shit. The moment they started doing shit to the songs without him in the room was the moment it stopped being about him, and started being about money. Now, with that said.. I don't really care that they're doing it. You'd expect them to do it, to make money, he would want them to do it. You can't go around bitching about who's on the songs, etc. though, because NONE of this shit is how he would have intended it... UNHEARD.

The Jazze Pha produced "Fair XChange" was hot as fuck, one of the best post-mortem Pac tracks IMO. Nas is bullshit because Pac would have never worked with him, they had beef. Trick Daddy, what's wrong with him? I would have perferred the Kurupt verses on the track, but oh well. Mya? What's wrong with that?

What's wrong with that?I guess there's nothing wrong with Jazze Pha or Trick Daddy, or Mya or Nas for that sake.. it's just the double standard that a lot of Pac fans expresses every time they see somebody they don't personally like redoing a Pac-track, doing a Pac-tribute, or sampling him, hence this reply. Daz been doing some Pac-tracks as well lately, I fail to see how those tracks are any hotter at all, just because he had worked with Pac it seems to be ok....
