i imagine trauma will probably be the only person to reply to this but thats fine.

i've never really been a big fan of the beatles...but then again i've never really sat down and listened to them...just heard a few of their big singles...but i downloaded the grey album by danger mouse and the songs that he sampled sounded like they would be really good...so heres my question:

if i like the grey album...what are the chances of actually enjoying the white album?

some of the songs on the grey album sounded so good...i really wanna hear whatever song danger mouse used for encore...that sounded hot...and whatever he used for justify my thug.

^^ You have to know that he often only used a little part of one of the Beatles' song and added some things like a guitar-string, bass, etc. I downloaded "Piggies" for example, which Danger Mouse used for "Change Clothes", but the beat is completely different and only at the end there are a few seconds where you recognize what Danger Mouse sampled. But he pitched it a little bit and added bass, so that there isn't really anything left exempt for the melody. Don't know what's up with the other songs, but I suggest it'll be the same with them...

The Beatles are dope though. My father once bought their "1" album, where all their number #1 hit-singles are featured on and there are some tight songs on it. My favourite: "Lady Madonna" 8)

Yeah, Abbey Road was awesome because they knew it would be their last album recorded, so they gave the fans a treat, and made the whole second side of the album 1 big long suite.  "annnnd, In the End!"

White Album = Best Beatles album.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

The beatles are one of those bands where they're quality was so high, your favorites change constantly.  As I sit here now, I'd say that Revolver was my favorite album of theirs, but damn it's pretty much a toss up.
