They had the real egg before it was even delivered. There was no reason for them to go and try to steal the replica. LOL.

The only problem with that, though, was that it's a gay plot.  I knew them getting arrested was intentional, because Brad Pitt mentioned it about 3 times, he even told Danny Ocean "10:45, we all get arrested"

They wouldn't send a real fabrige egg via subway with only 2 guards.  I know, inconspicuous, but they still wouldn't do it.  If they DID do it, they would watch the bookbag while the fight was going on, it'd be the first type of thing they'd look for.  They also wouldn't know what type of bookbag it was in, and wouldn't have an identical one.  Finally, when the kid got there with the bookbag, which I supposed would have had another replica in it, swapped in by Matt Damon... there's no way the replica would be so perfect as to fool the curators of the egg waiting for it at the museum.

Just a fucking gay plotline, with holes big enough to drive a truck through.

Nevermind...I think they did that so Brad Pitt could get Katherine Zeta to leave with him...

Another gay thing was Bernie Mac's character, like mentioned above.  He knew about Catherine Zeta Jones, because when Pitt said Amsterdam, he said Amsterdam?  & Pitt said "Yeah, don't tell Danny" Of course they never ever explained anything about why Bernie Mac was nervous about going there, or why he apparently knew something, that he shouldn't tell Danny.  Maybe it's just sloppy editing, and the explanations are on the cutting room floor.

If they had closed some of these gaps, and cut the whole Julia Roberts thing out, this movie would've been 10x better.

The nightfox laser scene was probably one of the sickest scenes in the movie. I loved the nightfox character, he was cool, lol.

Yeah man that scene was crazy. One of the few interesting parts of the movie.
