Lil Wayne signed to Def Jam!?

(1/2) > >>

Leggy Hendrix:
We've been hearing that Lil' Wayne left Cash Money to sign to Def Jam under Jay-Z. Rumor has it, Lil Wayne was in Jackson, Mississippi last Saturday and announced the deal. We also heard this happened when Wayne was on-air at WPGC 95.5 in PG County. Did we mention that on Dec. 10 on Hot 104.5 (in New Orleans, Lil Wayne made the same statement? True or false? We don't know. Its just staying around longer than we thought.

this is in the rumour section, dunno if anyone can confirm...

SGV:
R.I.P. Weezys career if that's so. Not that he can't hang on Def Jam, cuz that's far from the truth. But, he's the Magic Johnson of Cash Money. On Def Jam he'll just be Sam Perkins.

mauzip:
everybody knows cash money is a dying label, but if this is true cash money is dead already :(

Petey:
fuck that.....baby and fresh can hold down cash money as the big timers and as solo acts......also heard the hot boys may reunite

Elevz:
"Def Jam lost their soul... they forgot how to build an artist, so I got to show 'em" - Redman in The Saga Continues

Now that's a useful quote... Ahem, never mind I guess.  ;D
