THAT's My point!
I lot of people posted saying its a Banging West Coast CD
but then a few say it shouldnt have been made cause it WEAK
how is THAT?

Because Dre executive produced it and some people will hate on anything that Dre does.  Doesn't matter what some people think really.  The fact that it's the best-selling X album should give you some indication of its quality.

it's an ok album.... far from X's best tho (At The Speed Of Life)... i didn't feel tracks like DNA & Kenny Parker Show++ production is on point trough the whole album, but xzibit doesn't rhyme and flow like he did on his two first albums.

I Love The Album I Just Wish "Year 2000" Was On It That Track Is Blazing Dope Beat ANd Hella Dope Flow By X...

For real though. Year 2000 was pure fuckin heat. If he had put that track on there and left of the Kenny Parker show and Double Time, X would have had a classic album on his hands. Great album, amazing production but 40 Days and 40 Nights is a better album.
Being a LAKER is a privilige. Unfortunately some "Lakers" have forgotten that.

Hate it, X took a huge step down. His first 2 albums are among the greatest Hip-Hop ever released and Restless is full of lackluster lyrics, and weaker production. Just because bigger name producers were involved doesn't mean they make beats that fit him as well as the ones on his first 2.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

It's a decent album. Pretty dope. It doesn't touch his first two though.

xzibit doesn't rhyme and flow like he did on his two first albums.

If you leave out his last album which I haven't heard yet, his rhyme structure and flow are much better than they were on the 2 first albums, it's just that his subject matter sucks ass. Xzibit should never have gotten the success he got.
