How expensive is college in the USA?

<< < (2/10) > >>

Acgrundy:
I paid $750 a quarter, but my last year they raised it to $900 a quarter and its raised even more now.  it was one of the best and cheapest CSU's.

college is pretty overrated as far as getting a great education.  I learned some good stuff, but I definately have learned a lot more outside the classroom.  but america is full of fuckin morons, so I think the more people who go, the better.  definately everyone on here should get a college education, but some of you guys are so fuckin dumb I don't think it would help you any.

Ant:
yeah like everyone said, anywhere from 3k to 40k when you add in room and board...

a lot of colleges offer good financial aid packages though.... depends on the size of their endowment... my school is one of the most expensive in the country around 37k a year, but a lot of kids go there for almost free.

Machiavelli:
3k to 40k

plus theres thousands of scholarships with money just sitting around...you can ask a college for a list of them and then try out for a bunch. i know one guy that just had to send in a two page paper on something and he recieved $3,500 to pay for books and supplies

Damn, as I predicted, good colleges are expensive as fuck  >:(.. how the hell can a young lad pay that shit.. I mean my parents are poor as fuck  :D.. lol

I guess I have to inform myself how the conditions for student loans or grants are.

Btw.. apart from the stereotypes of fraternities, is there something good? I mean, is it perhaps like they pay my college shit and when Im 30 and have a job I have to pay it back, or something like that?
