Why is this album slept on???

I was just wondering why it seems like when anyone brings up roscoe on these forums there are always alot of guys that start talking shit about him and talking about how terrible philaphornia is??

ok forget all of his YA Material and all of his old work with kurupt and the rest of the dpg which is great and just focus on philaphornia and its a hell of a solo effort escpecially for a first album.  I didnt think it would sell that well but i did think it would do better than it did but I just dont understand why every1 shits on the album?

In my opinion there are no album fillers on the whole cd and i have been saying its a great cd since the first second I heard it and to this day people are still dogging it??

Im thinking its just because most of these people havnt actually heard the album, because if you hear it how can you not like it??

Bought it the week it dropped, listened to it and put it away...

....then took it back out again a few months back, put it on and couldn't stop listening to it for four ir five days straight. I know think it's one of the dopest West Coast albums of the last few years. Can't wait for a follow up.

i don't think i've heard anyone talk bad on philaphornia... i loved it. it was a banging ass album, but yeah it is underrated cause it didn't get the attention it deserved at all.

Roscoe came with it, too bad he's already falling off. I wish he never started cussing like he is now, he was way more lyrical and his flow was doper, his latest shit has been all muthafucka bitch etc.

the fucking TITLE OF THE ALBUM is PHILAPHORNIA. meaning mix of PHILADELPHIA (where he was born and grew up till age of 15 or so) and CALIFORNIA (where he moved to and lives at).

I got that cd, and I think it's hella tight, he got some top notch production from Organized noize, quik, and others.  Not too shabby for your debut album.

yeah smooth sailing was a awesome song it got some airplay on the raido stations where  i live in sac and all they usually play on the radio here is mainstream so i thought at first that the roscoe album would sell a good amount of copies but unfortenely it never happened
