Sometimes you check out an underground artist and are pleasantely suprised. Sometimes you check out an underground artist and he's horrible. Well, I introduced J Steez to ya'll a few months ago, and now that his debut album "Up 4 Tha Crown" is out, I can proudly say THIS CAT IS THE SHIT!

J Steez is a producer for those who don't know, out of South Gate. He's very versatile, meaning he can flip from a Kanye West type beat to a DJ Quik type beat to a Rick Rock type beat, creating his own sound. But don't think the beats is all that carries this album, J Steez got himself some HOT artists to appear: Bad Azz, 40 Glocc, Suga Free, Weasel Loc, WS Bugg, Infra Redd, Zoo Babies, Ms. Tiana just to name a few.
