usually on dubcc people don't bring up problems with the democrats often, so i have nothing to comment on.  i did recently touch on why I lately support democrats at the end of this thread

But to sum things up simply, I was an independent, but Bush leadership over the past 4 years and the republicans in ability to critcize their own party pushed me to favor the democrats.  Now granted, some republicans have stepped up offered crticism, but these people have all subsequently been slandered by the other members of the party.  So while I will always have a philosophic appreciation for conservative thought, I tend to prefer the idea of progressive politics.  In other words, I support a party that tries to capture the best of both sides, and says to itself, you know fiscal responsibilty and small government are ok some of the times, but other times we need new ideas.  I don't like people who stubbornly cling to dated ideas and say like GWB, once i make up my mind i stick to my opinions.  The fact that republicans even call people "flip-floppers" turns me off.  Do they really mean to suggest there is something inherently bad with changing your mind when you realize you may have been wrong initially? An intelligent individual, realizing human opinion is falliable,  is open to criticism, and willing to recosider their assumptions. 

So yeah, the democrats do have problems, and i'll be honest about them, but when you have republicans like Bush and co. running the country, it makes it kind of hard to remain supportive of both parties.

your level or maturity is dissapointing at best...  but then again, your just one other reason why reasonable americans are finding harder and harder to support a party that stands by Bush and includes individuals such as yourself, and Trauma.
